MARKETING
Almost in all cases when people are asked to define “Marketing” they refer immediately to sales. In a way this is correct! However, Marketing is much more. It has to do with the choice of the Right products or Services to be sold, deciding the Right Price for them, Choosing also the right place to be sold and lastly to select the most efficient and cost effective way of promoting them.
Furthermore, emphasis must always be given to the microenvironment and macroenvironment of the company. Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of your suppliers, customers, intermediaries, employees as well as any other kind of Political, Economical, Natural, Technological and Legal forces will help the company to identify and create that extra benefit over its competitors offering to the target market the superior added value products and services.

“Marketing is the science and art of exploring, creating, and delivering value to satisfy the needs of a target market at a profit. Marketing identifies unfulfilled needs and desires. It defines, measures and quantifies the size of the identified market and the profit potential”. Dr. Philip Kotler
